Vitaskin - Nutrition for your skin

The new Vitaskin line from Eminence can help treat skin conditions such as inflammation, lack of firmness, and acne internally and topically.

Typically if the inside of our body is healthy this will reflect on our skin. Eminence has developed a topical line for all of these conditions as well as a Vitamin solution. What are clinical peels?

Clinical peels are a form of exfoliation using AHA's, BHA's, and enzymes to reveal fresh new skin cells, regenerating collagen and elastin. Spring Tune Up to shake the winter blahs

 

Exfoliate.    Exfoliate your skin to remove dry skin cells – you can use a sugar or salt based exfoliant or try a body glove. Keep it handy in the shower and exfoliate a few times a week – you will notice an improvement in the tone and texture of your skin quickly.

Condition.    Cold temperatures and dry air can wreak havoc on your hair. Spring is a perfect time to use a hair masque to add incredible moisture and shine to your hair. Need a suggestion on the right masque...ask our studio manager and master stylist terri@spiritspa.ca.

Protect.    Protect your skin from the sun with a daily application of SPF. Try a two-in-one moisturizer and spf product like B. Kamins bio-maple day lotion or go organic with Eminence'sTropical Vanilla Sun Screen or Sun minerals. Don't forget your hair, Goldwell's Sun Reflects protects your locks with SPF.

Hydrate.    Drink lots of water to hydrate your skin and body, but also lock in hydration with a good moisturizer. Don't forget the tootsies.   Soon it will be sandal season and it's time to get the toes in tip top shape. Try a foot scrub in the shower to help remove dry skin, apply a foot cream at night and try a little cuticle oil (solar oil $4) to get the toes ready for the big unveil. Pedicure season is here!
